Home Security Inspection Request Form

The Los Altos Police Department is pleased to offer complimentary Home Security Inspections as part of its Crime Prevention Program.

While no home is “burglar-proof”, identifying security weaknesses and correcting vulnerabilities can discourage burglars from targeting your home. During a Home Security Inspection, an Officer will meet one-on-one with you to survey both the interior and exterior of your home. The Officer will note any areas where security risks exist and provide tips on how you can fix areas of weakness.

Here's a Home Security Inspection Handbook and Home Security Checklist and Inventory Sheet, either are handy reference tools to have on hand during your Home Security Inspection. We advise to look them over, print what you want or save it locally to your computer.
