Fire and Medical

The city of Los Altos contracts with the Santa Clara County Fire District for Fire and Medical services. In the event of an emergency, you would call 9-1-1 or (650) 947-2779 and our Communications Center will assist you. Our Communications Center is equipped to handle TDD-Hearing impaired access, Text to 9-1-1 and contracts with a translation service to support numerous languages.

There are two Fire Stations located in Los Altos:
