Los Altos Police and Resilient Los Altos to Host Community Safety Town Hall
Los Altos, Calif. — November 21, 2024 — The Los Altos Police Department, in collaboration with Resilient Los Altos, invites the community to a Community Safety Town Hall on Wednesday, December 4, from 6-7:30 PM at the Garden House (400 University Avenue).
This town hall will provide residents with:
- Updates on the Drone Program, Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Cameras, Facility Dog Program, and more.
- Practical tips to protect themselves and their property.
- Neighborhood programs designed to promote community building and safety.
"This town hall is an opportunity for residents to learn about our latest initiatives and discover how they can play an active role in community safety: we want residents to walk away feeling informed and empowered," said Chief Saskia Lagergren. "We encourage everyone to attend and connect with our department, Resilient Los Altos, and other Los Altans."
Following the formal program, there will be a Q&A session. Questions will be answered as time permits—those unable to attend may submit questions in advance to info@losaltosca.gov.
