Development Impact Fees

The Mitigation Fee Act permits the City to impose development impact fees on new development. New development projects attract new residents and employees to the City generating an increased demand for parks, transportation, public safety, and general government facilities and the City has found these facilities are reaching capacity. The City requires a cost effective and efficient way of serving future residents and employees while maintaining existing levels of service and therefore in 2024 updated the existing Development Impact fees and established new Development Impact fees in direct relationship to associated development within the City.

Affordability Requirement
