Street Sign Clearance

The Los Altos Maintenance Team wants to remind all Los Altos residents about keeping street signs clear of vegetation. It is every resident's obligation to trim and maintain any private trees, bushes, or shrubs on their property that are currently blocking any street signs. Residents should clear a significant perimeter around the signs to ensure that there is max visibility.

Keeping street signs clear help first responders identify streets faster and help motorists, bikers, and pedestrians stay safer. By having our residents trim their private trees, we can ensure that the community is safer as a whole. The City of Los Altos, the Maintenance Department, and the Police Department thank you for your help!
