El Camino Real Parking Study
The California Department of Transportation - Caltrans will be resurfacing the pavement along El Camino Real between Palo Alto and the Hwy 237 intersection in Mountain View. As part of the resurfacing work Caltrans is working with each City along the street resurfacing route to determine the feasibility of installing new bike lanes as part of the project. Each agency is analyzing the feasibility of removing parking on El Camino Real to support bike lane installations. Street resurfacing work on El Camino Real is scheduled for the Summer 2022.
