Historical Commission
The Historical Commission is a five-member body, appointed by the Los Altos City Council, with four broad purposes and objectives:
- Make recommendations on historical site designations and development activities on historic properties
- Identify, protect, and promote awareness of the city's history and heritage
- Work and collaborate with the Association of the Los Altos Historical Museum
- Cooperate with other governmental agencies, civic groups, and the community on the collection and preservation of documents, data, and other works of historical significance to the City of Los Altos
Meetings
The Commission meets quarterly in 2024, with the meetings occurring on January 22, 2024, April 15, 2024, August 26, 2024, and October 28, 2024. The Commission will meet at 6 PM in the Los Altos Community Center, 97 Hillview Avenue, Los Altos, CA.
