Tiny Tots Tipster: Play with a Purpose!

“Play with a Purpose” is our Tiny Tots preschool philosophy. . .engage kids by incorporating their love of play into a love for learning. This post includes ways to take things you may have at home and tweak them a bit to add an educational twist!

Here are some fun activities to try:

Printables:

Use letter tiles (Scrabble or Banana Grams) or a pencil to figure out the secret message. (Hint: what letter does each picture start with?)
Domino Addition (count the dots)!

Crafts & Cooking:

Create art with a salad spinner!
Cut out a spiral snake!
Paint & Paper Playmate
Make ice cream in a baggie (there’s a bit of math involved and some movement too!)

Make and play Lego tic-tac-toe
Practice letter or word recognition with JENGA blocks
