Public Meetings: Silicon Valley Community Choice Energy Partnership
The Silicon Valley Community Choice Energy Partnership (SVCCEP) has announced a series of community input meetings to introduce residents to the benefits of Community Choice Energy.
Community Choice Energy allows city and county governments to pool the electricity demand of their communities to buy greener sources of electricity on behalf of residents and businesses in their jurisdictions. Shifting to greener energy sources through a Community Choice Energy program is one of the most impactful actions Silicon Valley communities can take to lower carbon emissions.
The community is encouraged to learn more about the potential benefits of Community Choice Energy at one of six community meetings being held in the South Bay in October:
