Help shape the future of City of Los Altos’ City Council Districts

The city of Los Altos is in the process of transitioning from an at-large election system to a district-based election system. This means that there will soon be city council districts – and you have the ability to influence the lines.  The City Council wants to hear from you on how these boundaries should be drawn. Complete this form to tell the City Council about your Community of Interest – keeping these like communities together is a high-ranking criteria in the line-drawing process.

What can you do to further participate in the process?

  • Provide your comments on your community of interest by completing this worksheet and return it by emailing or mailing the form to the City Clerk (1 N. San Antonio Rd, Los Altos, CA 94022), or attend a public hearing and read your comments to the Council.

  • Attend one of the Los Altos City Council public hearings or a future community outreach opportunity. Times and locations are publicized on the District-Based Elections dedicated webpage.
