As we prepare for the New Year, the Los Altos Parks & Recreation department is here to help you achieve your resolutions! Whether your goal is to spend more time outdoors, participate in family-friendly activities, or get fit, Los Altos Parks & Recreation is the place to start. With a variety of programs, events, and parks across the city, there's no better time to get active and make the most of your resolutions!

Join a Fitness Class: From yoga and pilates to Jazzercise and Bollywood dance, we offer a variety of fitness programs. It's the perfect way to get moving while trying something new. View a full list of classes and register HERE.
- Explore Parks in Los Altos: Whether it's hiking through Redwood Grove or enjoying a leisurely stroll around Grant Park, our parks offer a great way to enjoy the outdoors and stay fit. Plus, some parks even feature outdoor fitness equipment. View a full list of parks HERE.
Get Involved
- Volunteer With Us: Make a positive impact in the Los Altos community by volunteering with the Parks & Recreation department. Whether it's assisting with community events, supporting the Adult 50+ Program, or helping with pickleball, there are many ways to give back and engage with your local community. - Attend Community Events: Did you know that all of the events hosted by the Los Altos Parks & Recreation department are free? Participate in events such as Family Fun Days, the Spring Egg Hunt, or Summer Concert Series, where you can spend time with your loved ones and enjoy a variety of free activities for all ages. - Visit the Los Altos Teen Center: Open Monday-Friday, from 3-6 PM, the Los Altos Teen Center (located at the Los Altos Community Center) offers a free, safe, and welcoming space for teens in grades 6-12 to relax, connect, and participate in fun activities. Learn more about the Teen Center HERE.
- Visit the Los Altos Adult 50+ Center: The Los Altos 50+ Program has located at the Los Altos Community Center and Grant Park Community Center.
