Tiny Tots Tipster: Butterfly Activities

Spring is the time of transformation…and the transformation (aka metamorphosis) of caterpillar to butterfly is the perfect example!  Each year our preschoolers observe this miracle of nature up close.  We see caterpillars eating and growing.  They make their chrysalides and then transform into butterflies.  It’s a wonderful way to teach that change can be a very good thing…after all, if nothing ever changed, we’d have no butterflies!
