The City of Los Altos Rolls Out the State Street Green

In collaboration with a number of community groups and downtown business owners, The City of Los Altos is pleased to bring you the State Street Green!

As part of the City’s First Street Streetscape Project, State Street between First and Second Streets will be temporarily closed until Labor Day while the intersection at First and State Streets is under construction. During this street closure, the City has rolled out artificial grass in order to create a temporary park space on the closed block.

Special programming is currently planned including free concerts, kids events, art events, and the Los Altos Stride and Ride festival.
