Communication Plans

family communication plan

Your family may not be together when a disaster strikes, so it is important to make a plan. Consider the following questions when developing a communication plan:

  • How will I get in touch with loved ones if cell phones, internet and/or landlines aren't working?
  • Where should my family meet after an emergency?
  • How will my family/household get to our safe meeting place?
  • How will my family/household receive emergency alerts and warnings?
