The City’s contractor, Casey Construction, Inc., will be performing the Sewer System Repair Program Project, which includes the sewer main replacement at two locations in Downtown Los Altos. The first location is along First Street between San Antonio Road and Main Street, and the second is along Plaza South between First Street and Second Street.
The work will begin on Monday, June 26, 2023, and is anticipated to be completed by Friday, August 4, 2023. The construction activities will impact traffic in the downtown area along First Street and Plaza South. Traffic signage will be implemented as the work progresses. However, it is recommended to allow for extra time while traveling through the construction area due to road parking closures throughout the construction.
