Covington Road from El Monte Avenue to Miramonte Avenue will receive resurfacing treatment as part of Annual Street Resurfacing program in Summer 2020. The City would like to take this opportunity and prepare for striping and traffic calming improvements to be implemented during construction.
Current Status:
Project is currently in design phase to prepare for bid in early 2020. Concept design for new striping and traffic calming measures was brought to open house community meeting and the Complete Streets Commission on November 20th, 2019 for review and discussion. Striping concept plan presented at the meeting is attached below. Please leave any feedback, question or concern about the project to Transportation@losaltosca.gov
Public Outreach Meeting:
City is inviting residents along Covington Road and nearby streets to join the online community meeting to provide input and understand operation changes as a result of the new bike lanes.
